This awesome little hostel is a hidden gem! The location is mind-blowing - just a hop, skip, and a jump from the tram stop and a short stroll to the beach. The vibe next to the local market is super chill and the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere. The rooms are basic, but clean and the shower was jaw-droppingly good with fantastic water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lovely cleaning lady, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. And the best part? They happily held onto my keys while I enjoyed the beach, giving me peace of mind. I felt safe as a solo traveler and will definitely return if I have the chance!

I recently stayed at Hostal El Mercat for a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the tram stop and the beach. The hostel itself was clean and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. The staff, especially the friendly cleaning lady, were helpful and made me feel welcome. I felt safe as a solo traveler and loved that they held my key while I went to the beach. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely return if I have the chance!

Just got back from an amazing weekend in a charming town filled with colorful houses and a beautiful beach. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the tram stop and the beach. And being right next to the local market was a bonus, as we could explore the local vendors right outside our door. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the cleaning lady who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Plus, they even held onto our keys while we went for a swim, which made it easier for us to relax and enjoy our time in the town. a lovely experience!

There were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. The walls of the room were very thin, so we could hear noise from neighboring rooms quite clearly.

The triple room we stayed in was equipped with air conditioning, which was a blessing in the hot weather. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance. The twin room with a terrace was a nice feature, allowing us to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. We appreciated the extra comfort provided by the sofa in the twin room, making it a perfect spot to rest and recharge. The room with 2 single beds was ideal for us as bike riders, offering flexibility and space.

Personally, we didn't find the flat-screen TV in the triple room necessary, as we preferred spending time outdoors and exploring rather than watching TV.
